I try to impress on folks when they rent that it's all about communication. When they know they are ready to vacate,
let me know. It' simply helps me manage their departure in a more effective manner.
We will pro-rate within the first five days of their rent assessment. It gives them some flexibility in orchestrating their move. In the end, I want their vacate to be a positive experience for them; that way they came become my best spokespeople.
