Yeah it is hard to plan for something that has never happened before in recorded history.

I see the end in sight we are making good progress, and for the most part people have came out and taken care of their stuff. I am just happy that the city allowed us to use the trash piles they are collect for disposal of peoples damaged goods.

We bought a dump trailer and have been separating everything and hauling it for the city to the designated waste transfer spot. There was no actual physical damage to anything. All electric items stayed above water, so we have had power unlike everyone else in the city.

So basically all we have had to do is help elderly people and anyone that needed it go through their units. Then get them clean once we had enough ready to do so.

If we would of had to pay to dispose of the waste it would of cost us thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars. Though our area is going to be getting really low on landfill space soon. The floods have so far created about 4 years worth of waste, and that doesn't include to 1000-1500 homes that will need to be demolished.
