Full service RV storage?
Hi guys, we are trying to add extra services to our RV storage, while inching up our RV rent too. I would love to hear any ideas you guys have to offer more services and value to RV tenants??? Does anyone have a dump station or wash area? Thanks

Services
I'm not sure if anyone has thought to offer this, but free shuttle service could be handy. Every spring and fall when I store or pick up the motorcycles, it means that I need a ride in one direction or the other.
Sometimes my wife is around to do it, but sometimes not. Of course if you only have one person at the facility that makes it hard to get away, but if it could be worked in it might be a neat service that sets you apart.

Great idea, I am going to mention it to my Director of Operations to possibly try.
Thanks for the free tip.

Thanks, I really like the shuttle idea....I would not have thought of that. I need to check on my liability/insurance issues for that.
Also, we started washing our customer's windshields and windows prior to them going on a trip and when they come back, and they seem to love it.

RV Storage
I know of a company that ONLY stores RV's Trucks, Boats, And cars. For the RV's they offer an area where you can clean your RV - they also allow a person for a small fee) to come in and detail RV's for their owners. They offer a dump station - helps to keep their lots clean, but do not allow electrical hook ups.
I would suggest a small fee for electrical and dump station hookups. They won't need the electrical but for a short time while they are cleaning or preparing to go out, and the same for the dump station. IF they need it for any length of time then you can figure that they are living in their RV on your property.
He also had a limousine company store their limousine and for VERY small cost, they would drive the RV owner's home - similar to a taxi cost. The Limo owner was happy - had fares on off days and nights, advertised by dropping off the customer at their home, and the RV client's felt priviledged.
Everyone was a winner.
Perhaps you can hire a staff member to be there on specific days to do the detailing??
