Default upscale storage sites

We are in negotiations with several property owners regarding a new site, and most of them have a pretty negative view of "mini-warehouses".

I'd like to find shots of upscale storage projects to give them an idea of what we have in mind, but I'm have a hard time locating pictures.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

I hope that some of the users on this site affiliated with upscale storage facilities could post some pictures of their facilities?

You can also do Google Images searches. http://images.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi Start with "upscale storage facility."

We have a massive library of site photos, since we try to get pictures of every project that we build. Let me know what features you are thinking of including in your site and I'll find you photos of it.

Send me a private message here, call us at 800-356-5824 ext 3208 or use the contact us form on our web site at trachte.com

doriangray,

We also have many shots of Upscale self storage buildings. Many of the new multi story buildings are required to look more like office buildings. Take a look at our website

www.compassbuilding.com

Let me know what you are looking for and I will get multiple shots that you can pass on.

Just one quick suggestion. Unless it is the language in the zoning code - please take the name "Mini Warehouse" out of everything that you say or is written about the project and subsitute "Self Storage". A major point to stress is that the residential users of self storage (typically 75% to 80% of customers) are local people from a 5 to 10 minute drive from the location. This is very much a local service business.

not sure exactly the "scale" of pictures you're looking for, but I'd be more than happy for you to show pictures of our facilities as potential types. Sounds as if these property owners have the old school vision of self storage and dont want to have the run down, bright orange facility in the community. Our industry has become quite the opposite. http://www.plantationstorage.com

check out our website for pictures of scale. Hope this helps.

Default Past issues of magazines

I don't know what Inside Self Storage magazine has but I bet there's a story and photos of some really great facility. Mini Storage Messenger's December 2009 issue has their facility of the year choices. There are some really beautiful facilities.

And, BTW, have them rent the "Sex and the City" movie. Manhattan Mini Storage has their boxes in about 7 scenes. Who said this was a boring industry?

You could get some shots from websites as well. "Upscale" is also a relative term. Here in our little county we're pretty upscale but in other places just nice or even just OK. www.diamondselfstorage.com
