Question keep energy costs down

Does anyone have any bright ideas for keeping energy costs down, especially for climate control? ISS has an article in the archives about using humidity control or dehumidifiers as well as AC; has anybody tried this? Supposedly it is useful in humid coastal areas, which we are.

I would also like to know what the industry "norms" are for the temperature range that is considered acceptable.

I am new at this but I am responsible for 3 facilities and am just learning the ropes. Thanks!

We use a open loop geothermal heating and air system for our climate controlled units. And it cuts costs alot of the normal methods of electric or gas heating and cooling.
