One of the things is a mailbox slot so that customers can drop off payments ( Checks) after hours.

One thing that is often overlooked is the effects of weather when designing your site plan. Those with wintery climates should consider the impact of ice and snow on their buildings and drives. Buildings should be built north-to-south whenever possible so that the sun will melt snow on both sides of the building. If you have to build west-to-east use lean-to roofs so that the water drains to the south side of the building. This will prevent ice accumulation and frozen-shut rollup doors on the north side of the buildings where the sun never shines. Drives and cross-drives also need to be of adequate widths to provide for snow removal. My site plans in northern climates usually include 25-foot wide long drives with 30-foot cross drives at the ends of the buildings. I also usually extend the cross drives right up to the fence on both sides to allow an area to push snow between buildings.
