Default Number of Units and Monthly Income

I was just wondering how many units everyones facilities had and "about" how much your facility brings in before expenses? Just a round figure. Thanks

Crystle- an interesting question certainly, but one that features an answer that has (in my opinion) absolutely zero usefulness. Since rental rates vary so widely, and unit mixes vary so widely, I don't see where anybody could glean any meaningful information from the result.

I get $150 for a 10x10 here in California, but in Salt Lake City, they get $70 for that same 10x10. (my postulation is to not build storage units where everybody already has a basement )

I am really heavy on 5x5 to 5x10 units, other facilities have nothing smaller than a 10x10. There is no correlation between number of units and gross income, at least on a national level. More could be learned if you asked that of facilities in your particular market, but it still would be skewed.

We're about a half hour away from SLC and our biggest unit, an 11x30 rents for $150. People don't even want to pay that much for a unit that large. The cost variation between markets is mind blowing sometimes

Its funny I have noticed people will talk about anything on here but money. I guess I can understand that, gross income can be a staggering number, but once you add debt service to that equation it dwindles fast.

Well, that and the fact that it's not my money to talk about, really. I'd probably be slightly more open if I owned the place. Even then, only slightly. I don't want the area to be overbuilt.

you want to be blown away with storage prices, go look up the cost of a unit in Manhatten! 10x20 climate $922 a month, 5x10 climate $279, and these are on 4th or
    5th floors!
