Holiday Hours
What days and hours are you open during the holidays? Anyone working on Thanksgiving or Christmas day?
Do you get a lot of traffic on these two holidays?Amy Campbell

Re: Holiday Hours
We are closed Thanksgiving, but open that Friday ad we are usually dead.
Xmas Eve we get off at 12:30 pm we are usually dead that day as well, but since Xmas is on a Saturday this year we don't open up again until Monday and it will be slow then.
We are closed Xmas as well

Re: Holiday Hours
Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Days. 1/2 day before both eves, not that we see a single soul anyway. ALL of the kids will be here this year for the holidays and I pity the person who shows up uninvited and interrupts my holiday time this year.
For once I intend to be completely selfish! We've been interrupted each year in the past and we need to have this time with all of our kids together under one roof. So Mary Sunshine will NOT in residence on the holidays this season. As Storman said in another thread; Dear customer or potential customer, You have been warned!

For the first time in five years! Closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday after!! Saturday will be determined by demand. On Call, by appt only!!
Christmas Eve is yet to be determined but closed Christmas Day and then of course, Sunday! New Year's Eve will work til noon and closed NY Day.
Typically for me also these holidays all always dead!! Not even a phone call!!By permission from Auto Doc

Re: Holiday Hours
We have a half day the day before Thanksgiving, closed thanksgiving and work a sunday schedule (10-2) the day after. For Christmas we have a half day on Christmas Eve, off for Christmas and then our normal sunday schedule the day after.

Re: Holiday Hours
We get off 1 hour early Thanksgiving "eve," and all day Thursday. Open Friday as usual.
Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are half days and I just sit in the office wrapping gifts on Christmas Eve since no one really comes in.
Closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Business as usual the next day!MamaDuke

Re: Holiday Hours
Exactly why I am heading for the hills of N.C., too many years of being interrupted by either customers or my employer, this year it is all about me and the kids period. I will post the bookkeeper's number on the front door so he can answer "emergenicies". I have no cell phone service at the house in N.C. and if I'm lucky the landline will be done for about three days at each holiday.
