Default Graffitti

How do you clean graffitti off of a metal building? My little town, formerly graffitti-free, now has a 5 foot wide tag on the side of my metal storage building.

Hi Alan! I saw your post on the U-Haul dealer message board about this problem. U-Haul has a great grafitti removal cleaner. Well at least it works great on the trucks. Since you are a dealer, you might want to check the Buyer's Club and check out their product.

Thanks Lisa, I believe it makes a difference from the side of a truck surface to the sides of a metal building but not sure about that. Thanks for the tip!

I say spend the night on top of your building - when the little punks show up shoot them in the A&& with frozen paintballs!!!

Remember to take anything I say with a grain of salt and your humor intact!

Unfortunately not allowed to do that here in California -- only as a last resort to protect your life - and then some lawyer will find a way to make it look as though you could have escaped and file a wrongful death suit against you!

The really stupid part about the California lawyers is that if the guy is breaking into our property and gets hurt or dies we will be in court for years!!!

And lawyers wonder why people dislike them so much.

Autodoc, you should take a look at the Corpus Christi area, just as good or better then the Florida Keys, more to do, and an easier escape route if a hurricane comes!

Not really looking as I don't think I will find a better deal then I have - heck, if I move to someplace else they may expect me to actually WORK - UCK!!! -

No, I am great where I am at --- at least till I win the lottery!

Besides - here I am only a 3 hour drive from Vegas so I can get to the ISS Expo easily

Sorry to Alan - we kinda hijacked your thread. As far as Graffiti removal - the city takes care of all the exterior walls by painting over it. If you want to ensure the color match you provide the paint and they will shoot it. They have a great graffiti removal team - we donate $1000.00 to them every year for the great work they do.

I happen to be in the pressure washing business as well as the storage business and do graffiti removal. And you can't go wrong with this places products.

http://www.shopetsonline.com/Graffiti-Remover-s/38.htm

Taginator for masonry surfaces and tagaway for everything else. Also a graffiti remover that works on a truck will work on your metal buildings also.

But I highly recommend this stuff.

Randy's referral above look like a good source. Another good graffiti remover is available through paint stores, Home Depot, etc. under the Goof-Off brand. Go to www.goof-off.com, and locate the store nearest you by providing your zip code.

We use this on smooth surfaces, like metal, etc. We paint over graffiti on our walls.
