We use lithumn on the Springs and silcone on the Door. In fact I just came back from doing a couple of Doors. We usually just sweep the doors. I would like to clean them better but finding something inexpensive is tough. No running water on proerty neer the unit so I guess would mean a bucket of water or some other means.

Smile Thank you.

Wow! What a response we got from that one. ALL very helpful tips and I appreciate each and every one. I am going to print out the tips and begin to keep a maintenance book of helpful tips. ISS could begin to have the regular maintenance articles every issue and put many of your techniques in print. Over and over I find this site to be one of my most valued tools because of all of the wonderful managers on board and so willing to share there thoughts and experiences. Wonderful people!
Thank you,
Sandy

Default Blowing off Doors

HI, I was cleaning my doors with a back pack blower and realized no one has mentioned this option. I do it when I do the drives and seems to help.

It is what I clean my rooms with and it works great, it even gets most of the dust off the walls.

I don't believe in dirt redistribution, I rely on a high school kid and a shop vac. Namely MY high school kid and MY shop vac.

Here in the high desert of California where the wind blows freely most of the year and the last time it rained was January all you can count on is dust relocation!

Default Doors

We pay laborers to wash the doors with vinegar and water mixed. Once a year. I don't get paid enough to clean 400 doors as part of my job.
