We are about half way through our first year in operation. Spring has been strong. I was wondering what everyone's experience is through the summer and into the fall. Is fall typically a strong time as apartment leases turn over? What should we expect to see in terms of volume now through the summer months as compared to the spring?
Thank you

First off, a HUGE thank you for having this forum, I have read posts that have helped me tremendously!
So, here’s my dilemma. My property map is confusing and I need a way to create a functional one. It was printed on two 8.5X11 sheets not large enough to properly reflect unit size, building location or unit #, which some numbers are so small a magnifying glass doesn't help. I have units which have been modified since the map creation into 2 and 4 door units. Y’all probably know this already and I don’t want to insult your intelligence but for example: a drive-thru unit (2 doors) has the center wall removed (4 doors); a single unit with wall removed (2 doors) is now a side-by-side…get the picture? I know the majority of you probably have your properties blueprinted in your mind and I will get there too however, I feel a visual friendly map is a professional addition and besides it will look great on the counter! Thanks for reading.

Hi, I just sort of stumbled across this forum yesterday, while looking for something else. I spent about 4 hours reading several of the threads, and wanted to comment on some of them, so I registered. Among a couple other businesses we operate, we have a self-storage business on business premises in our small Illinois town, consisting of 210 units. We built our basic self-storage buildings beginning in 1995, and the most recent one in 2008. We stay 95% to full most of the time, and have all of the same issues and problems that I am reading on the different boards. We do all of our own repair to the buildings, mostly doors and springs, and replace them our selves. Springs are particularly troublesome. Takes us about an hour to replace roll up door springs.
I plan on commenting in a few of the on-going threads, and hope I don't go too far back in time, as to resurrect a really old topic that no one has much interest about, except for, maybe, me.
Nice thing about the internet, - Things you find while looking up other things.
