Looking at buying a store with Roll Rite Doors. Are there any issues with finding replacement parts? Are replacement springs, latches from existing suppliers easy to find? Any big issues with replacing ?

    Re: Roll Rite Overhead Doors

    HI,
While there are many Roll Rite doors out there, The company no longer exists. Employees bought the company and it was in turn purchased by Janus Intl. The doors were not compatable and Janus discontinued making the roll rite style door. That being said, Parts may be available from Janus as they had inventory when purchased. Also, supply houses that specialize in older ( I can't say obsolete as many work great) doors offer OEM quality parts for orphan doors. feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

      Re: Roll Rite Overhead Doors

      Hi Don,

I have a facility with Roll Rite doors and the plastic 'sprocket' that attaches to the tensioner spring keeps going. We have been swapping the left sprocket with the right one (which is not under spring tension) but inevitably we are now running across doors where this repair has already been done once. I need to source some of these replacement sprockets and Janus as you so noted has none in stock. Do you have any suggestions for these supply houses that offer OEM parts for orphan doors. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Here's a photo of the part. Thanks!

Hello Everyone, I'm a firm believer that not one size fits all, I believe that in the storage world all of us have a unique way of handling operations at our facility. However, I'm quite curious to know that in spite of having many advanced options that could save time and make the work of Storage Operators/managers...

Big mistake of putting your lock on the unit, you created a liability for your self. Being very nice and helpful (which you meant to be) can back fire on you.

I dont see how putting a lock on a unit and putting the keys in their file, makes the office responsible for it.

            I wouldn't personally mail keys....
