        Yes there are several problems with them, you don't know who's renting at your property, you can use a business card as a drivers license, locks jam in dispenser, people enter credit cards into check reader, check amounts from people leaving check less than amounts owe yet accepts the check and shows that they paid current and the fact you have to leave vacant units unlocked so some people take what they want when they select the wrong (cheapest space). Biggest problem is they know no one around property so encourages less then great customers. I have ran both kinds of properties and prefer and now at a non-kiosk facility.

          Yes, internet going down, but that that is rare. Our biggest problem has been being compatible with storEDGE, but they are fixing the problems. It is an owners choice, my kiosk at our large property 600 units works a lot cheaper than an onsite manager Say $35-40 a year. We run a call center at all our 9 properties along with the kiosk at the larger properties.
