Default Do You Have a Mural?

I just posted a news item about a facility in Canada that features a giant mural along 145 feet of the facility.

Curious: Does anyone have a mural on their facility? Or have you considered adding one?

I would love to have a mural, but city ordinances here are so difficult we would never get it approved.

They pushed off our original opening by more than a year, making us add fake windows and raise our street-side building by about 3 feet with a faux wall.

I won't bother trying a mural.

Default Union Plankwalk & Railroad Co. 1854

Our mural is on one of our 100-foot long walls facing the freeway on-ramp. It was painted in 1991, and is a wonderful depiction of the earliest days of our town, which at that time was called Union. There are a couple of sailing ships at the dock (one ship is called Goliath), as well as men loading or unloading crates, a woman and children watching, and a horse pulling a cart full of people. It is really terrific and is a great landmark: "We're the facility with the mural!" That gets 'em everytime.

I'm with AirportSuperStorage - would love to have something like that, but this city is so stupid I'm lucky I didn't get busted when I repainted in different colors!!!

Same here! Our city is very strict about that stuff! But what a great idea! We do however, have a GIANT Lock out in front of us, so that's cool! It is about 10 feet tall and is a Padlock! But we put that up 13 years ago, before the city started "growing". Back then, everyone was still traveled by covered wagons.....LOL!!

Wish we can put up a mural on our wall but the problem is the city ordinance wont let us too, if we can it would be a great one.. actually lots of things are coming out of my mind when it comes to art.
