Nontraditional Locations and Combinations
Storage facilities are often paired with or located very near to movers, car washes, etc., but I wondering what are some nontraditional pairings?
Yesterday I saw a storage facility positioned directly under a Bally's Fitness, and the facility has partnered with Bally's to provide a steep discount to club members for some of the smaller units. And given the new age of the building, it seemed to be a planned development.
Any other nontraditional storage locations/combos you have seen?

There's a facility here in town that's on top of a huge bicycle shop!

I have always wanted an Applebees or a Chili's next to us. That way we could just take the golf cart to dinner!!!

And they say the way to man's heart is through his stomach.....hmmm...how about a Russell Stover Chocolate Outlet---(or Ghiradelli's, or Dove....yummm...)

We have a Panera Bread and a 5 & Diner next door, a Greek restaurant across the street, and within a block in either direction is a Lenny's Sub Shop, Burger King, El Pollo Tropical, Panda Bistro, Olive Garden, Taco Bell, KFC, a Polish Deli, and a Chili's...all within golf cart distance
so where do we usually eat? Dominos...they deliver...hahahahaha

I hope this link works...This facility is in Bluffton, SC, and the hubby and I stopped in for a visit while we were on vacation a year or so ago (my husband can't pass a storage facility without checking it out).
The office of this facility is the end unit in a large L-shaped strip mall, it does have an apartment upstairs for the manager. The storage units are out behind the entire strip mall, and the area is fenced in, and the gate is along the back wall of the office.
They have climate controlled and drive up units, and a lot of them! We thought it was interesting because it's the first time we've been to a facility that wasn't a stand-alone operation. There is tons of parking for tenants, because the strip mall has a huge parking lot. AND there are a lot of lunch spots in the small shops in the mall (for those who are interested)
