Default Portable Self Storage Crates & Containers

I have recently purchased a portable self storage business and we have approximately 60 "crates" that do not fit with existing system, don't have covers etc. that I want sell. I feel they could benefit someone out there in our industry I am just not sure how to reach the right buyers. Craigslist and eBay have not worked. Can anyone give me some more ideas or point me to other resources to reach our industry to sell off these crates?

Check with the National Portable Storage Association http://www.npsa-us.org/ or Mobile Self Storage Association http://www.ms-sa.org/. Perhaps they have a way you could broadcast to their members.

If you are talking about the wood crates that can have vinyl covers they are sold separately anyway. You may also want to try and identify who near you DOES use them and see if they want them. I believe that U-Haul uses the somewhat standard wood boxes, but I don't know if they would consider buying used equipment.

I would recommend checking with the CMSA or the California Moving and Storage Association. They have a website and it’s possible to post some ads that would go directly to other movers like MOVE4LESS in CA. So it’s really a great place to buy and sell equipment.
