Thread: Self Storage Mentor?

Hi everyone!

I have been trying to find a local self storage mentor who might be able to help me learn from an owner/investor point of view. I have tried contacting five local facilities and haven't heard back from any of them. I actually had a paper to write for one of my college business classes about a type of business I am interested in and I wanted to be able to sit down with a local self storage investor to sort of interview them but I am having a hard time finding one or knowing how to find one.

Does anyone have advice on how I might be able to find somebody like this? I will be trying another local REIA club but they don’t meet again for another 5 weeks or so.

I'm in southeast Michigan. Really close to the Ann Arbor area.
