I would like to introduce myself. I am Debbie, have been in storage business since late 1998. I started at a brand new facility (#3 of 5 total), live on the premises upstairs of the office (1500sf w/covered back porch). Love the job (but it is better in summer!!). Love the fact that I am doing something other than pushing paper. Before storage my husband and I worked for a telecomm/data company. I lasted 25.5 years, he was there for 15.5 years; we moved from Jersey to NC then back to Jersey. This job is certainly less stressful and I like that when a compliment about the facility is given that we are the ones responsible for it and we both like dealing with people. Look forward to interesting information and knowledge from this site.

Welcome - from somewhat sunny southern California. Not so warm here today - cold (for us - 33* this morning), rain with snow mixed in. I want my sunshine back!!!!

well hello there from what used to be hot humid Houston. I feel really bad I am complaining about how cold it is here and you guys are colder, but we are not used to this at all and well we aren't well equiped for either but this too shall pass and in a few months we are all going to be trying to stay out of the heat, and we will be so busy we won't have time to talk about the weather- yeah
