I love your area thought i was going to get into a vacation home or condo either on the cayman islands or in fla, or in gulf shores, but instead ended up after all the hurricanes investing in a sel;f storage facility in the ozarks where i live, my wife is from Kansas met her in Branson in 1983 , any way love your state, ps I'am going looking at a vacation home on the gulf next week dauphin island ever been there . thanks again for the welcome I have read some of your posts I added you to my buddy list, seems like you might be able to teach me a little bit about this storage business I only have built a 200 unit facility on phase one have room for another 100 or 150 units , not sure what we are going to do yet some maybe climate control ? what do you know about condo storage units, where someone owns there own and just pays me a rental fee or maintence fee ? thanks chuck email mattco79@hotmail.com

Well we have only been in Tampa for 3 yrs now and have yet to see a hurricane. We moved from Seattle.
I think climate control is great but they are a harder sale as ppl look at it as it is "just storage" why put in in A/C. Here in Tampa the humidity can ruin almost anything elecrtronic, so we try to warn ppl of this and get them in a A/C unit. In fact we are running a special on A/C units at Non A/C prices as we are in the middle of the heat season here.
As for know when daulhin Island is , i am afraid i don't get out much as we manage this site and own a Karate school we work at least 16 hours per day 6 days a week. So sundays we sleep in and clean the house.
