Question What Do You Think of the Paris Hotel?

What are your thoughts so far on the venue for the ISS Expo?

Definitely a short walk from rooms to conference so better than Sands but I do love the Venetian hotel.

Default So far so good

Expo hall and class area seems nice. I'm staying at Bally's (attached) next door which is cheaper and nice enough for me. I think that it's important for ISS to try and keep costs/admission down so that as many people as possible can attend.

Paris is nice but the tubs are too small and the showers are week and small.

Otherwise it's nice.

The convention center is nice but the chairs are uncomfortable

John do you know what percentage of attendees typically book a room where the expo is held? Do hotels require so many rooms to be booked as part of a contract for the convetion space?

I like the Paris much better for the expo facilities, but having done some research online before booking a hotel, chose not to stay there. We really like the public areas of Paris, with the ceilings painted and lit like outdoor sky it really makes the spaces feel open and airy, something hard to find in a Las Vegas hotel and casino.

I was able to get a GREAT room at Caesar's Palace overlooking the Bellagio fountains on Hotwire for only $80 a night, and in years past we've stayed at the Imperial Palace. Caesar's it just across the street from Paris, in the mornings it takes me less than 10 minutes to get to the conference. (I'll admit, the IP is a little bit rough, but knowing we paid only $30 for it made us feel a bit better, all I demand is clean and it was clean, just worn)

We also VERY MUCH like meeting later in the year, 65-70 weather is great compared to the "cold" of Jan-Feb.

I'm not a fan of the rooms for the value. I do love the short walk to andaround the conference area. The restrooms a mile away stinks though! Or maybe that's just my bum knee talking.

Hi All!

We stayed @ Planet Hollywood and it to was a short walk to the Paris. It was a little hard at lunch time.
It was sooooo nice to meet Autodoc and Ms. Beverly and Gina did a superb job!
Glad to be home to my mountains ( real and paperwork)
