Default New Orleans Expo - Construction

I am pleased that ISS is once again featuring a learning track at the NO Expo focused on new construction. It seems that many associations have been afraid to talk about this subject for fear of blow back from the folks that are already in the business. I am excited that ISS and their Education Program folks have maintained the philosophy that providing an opportunity for someone looking into the industry with good education – that an informed investor will make better decisions – helps the entire industry.

I am honored to have been asked to speak on the topic of conducting a Feasibility Study as a part of the development process. My goal in speaking on this topic has been to always leave people with more questions to consider when they leave then were on their mind when they came into the room. The investment that an attendee makes in attending an ISS Expo can be returned many fold with learning just one simple idea or in recognizing the mind fields that can be avoided to save you time and resources. Hope to see some of you in New Orleans in September.

If you have development/construction questions don’t be afraid to post them on the SSTalk site. There are a number of experienced folks willing to share their experience and help.

Default Re: New Orleans Expo - Construction

I am also doing a presentation in New Orleans and my topic is Facility Maintenance. We have developed checklists over the years to use at our stores but in trying to always be able to provide the most complete and up to date information, I am asking if anyone has a maintenance checklist they would be willing to share with me which may give me pointers that I do not already have.

I of course will be more than willing to share my information with you in return.

Thanks
