Without knowing more about the lifestyles of the people in your area, the economic conditions, government regulations etc, I would find it difficult to give you intelligent advice. However, this industry has done very well in the US, Canada, Great Britian, etc so I would assume that you have a great opportunity to be a ground floor leader in your country. I would encourge you to talk to other European operators, get to Nashville this October if possible to attend the ISS Expo(you will be able to learn a great deal in the three days of this show), and last but not least, keep doing your research using this forum as well as the ISS magazine, Webinars, etc.

Your first stop should be www.fedessa.org, the web site for the European Association. The organization holds regular seminars, meetings, and trade shows. The most recent was about a month ago in Rome. While there, I delivered packages to a developer who is building the first sites in both Hungary and Romania.

My take is that the European market is on the verge of a boom. I can't speak for specific locations, but any nation that does NOT have storage right now will eventually have a demand for it.

I was in Europe for the trade show. The company is based stateside. The sites in Bulgaria and Romania are interested in all security - access control, video, door alarms.
