We Love You More When You Log In - Self-Storage Talk

Greetings SST members, moderators, lurkers and even first-time visitors:

First of all, I just want to say that the leadership team for the site is very glad that you're all here. We hope that while you're on the site you find what you're looking for -- answers to questions, insights, tips, high-brow humor, low-brow humor, etc. -- and if you can't find it, you shouldn't hesitate to ask us. We love ya.

But we'll love ya even more if you can log in with your user name and password EVERY TIME you visit the site -- or register for a name if you don't have one already. Your logging in makes it much easier for us administratively to track what information people are looking for, what topics they're reading and how often they are visiting.

We truly respect your anonymity (that's part of the beauty of forums, isn't it?), but the potential for growth for the site is much higher if we can get everyone consistently logging in all the time.

OK, point made. I'm off to do some community managing. If you have any questions, send me an e-mail or private message.

Guilty as charged. There are times even I, open up SST, glance about for a second and move on. I promise dear Community Leader that I will be a good girl and log in each time.

Anonymity?! Really? Hmmm, never considered that option. Thanks for the reminder and for tracking results to make this better for all concerned John. Tracking data on which are hot topics and such is great and glad to know you're all being proactive on making this forum a fine tuned machine.

Oh yeah... and we love ya too!

As for the anonymity - I had that till MisterJim told everyone in Vegas who I was

Haha. Well, remember, you're always welcome to forfeit your anonymity if we see you at a trade show or something.

I also should point out that one way to make sure you're always logging in is to check the "Remember Me" square in the log-in box.

I think that the incentive deal you negotiated to earn a nickel for every log in was a great idea. Wait - I just realized that not everyone would be aware about that --- Sorry John.
