Wow, obviously this guy knows nothing about what we do and has some bitter pill to swallow. Fact is, this legislation will reduce costs which in turn MAY reduce price and still keep a small amount of profit for the owner. It is amazing how many people just think anyone in business is greedy and will do anything for a profit.

This will cut down our costs and do away with a bunch of worthless advertising. Great job to Richard Marmour who heasds up our legislative committe for being so persistant.

I am so confused. Is all this a good thing for us managers and owners? Like I said before I am extremely new to all this, so pardon me if I seem ignorant.

Not at all. I will try to summarize the legislation as best as I can or as I see it. We( Managers/owners) will no longer have to use the expensive certified mail, return receipt requested for sending out lien documents( this costs between $4.50-$4.65 each time) so say you have 10 of these per month, you will save quite a bit of money. In its place, we can use a lesser cost postage method.
Secondly, we have had to post notices in newspaper telling when, where, etc the auction will be, that can be expensive as well( $40-$150) per ad so again, say you do 10 of these each year, you can see the savings.
Bottom line, this could save the Arizona facilities a lot of money each month and still allow us to auction when we have to.
I know this is simplified but for more details, you can get the information from the links that have been posted concerning this.
