    Default Free internet marketing ideas

Hello Again - (I'm full of new threads this afternoon!) ,
I'm getting pretty worried/nervous about the economy and the lack of new customers coupled with the increase in move-out's I've been getting here lately.
SO, I've been racking my brain and implementing more venue's to market through. I'm going to put-out flyers this weekend (which have helped in the past), I've also been perusing the internet lately for any/all free methods to advertise through. I've been on Craigslist for a good while now (so I know about that), I signed-up/got us listed on "Google Business" (or whatever it's called/sorry I forget), I KNOW that there are A LOT more and I'm sure they've already been talked about on here, but I looked for a bit the other day and didn't find anything/I probably didn't look good enough.
If you guy's could suggest all of the vehicles online that you've used that are free I'd really be appreciative. Thanks again!

    Thanks for the info.
I'm pretty-sure that I did sign-up for Merchant Circle today. But not for the other's.....
But just out of curiousity how would one utitlize FB or Twitter for a self-storage? I'm definetely not going to post pics. on any of those as our place is quite old and needs a big face-lift....there really aren't any good angles per se....and Twitter, would I just say things like, "Pressure-washed formerly rat poop infested unit", LOL............

    hotfrog.com
    backpage.com
    local.BOTW.org (best of the web)
    mojopages.com

If you don't want to post photos of the facility, try at least your logo. Maybe you have a single unit you could photograph and use that?

I do almost exclusively free online marketing and we have a very good response. It is second only to drive-by when we ask where they found us.

And the more you are listed out there, the better your organic search results will be for your facility.

Good luck and have fun with it!

    Default don't forget about us!!

    Hi everyone,

Don't forget about the other internet marketing options that may not always be "free," but offer very cost effective solutions.

There are several online directories (like ours ) out there that can help bring in customers and create an online presence for a very minimal expense. See a handful of these options here

The advice that we always give our members, is to try as many different options as you can. Whatever you can do to bring in more inquiries/customers that you may have not gotten elsewhere, the better. Just make sure you track everything! and make sure that your "cost per tenant acquisition" (CPA) is at a level where you feel it is benefiting you to continue paying to be a part of any marketing source/service. Determining how much you are willing to pay to bring in a renting customer, is extremely beneficial in determining the best places to spend your hard earned money and precious time.

    I hope this helps
