Wink My Little Research Project...

Experts, what do you consider to be the most important pieces of information your managers must collect from their telephone prospects? Give me the top four or five...

Thanks!

My ultimate goal would be a reservation or site visit commitment, just as Lisa T stated. However, my first and primary goal is a name and phone number. This provides me an opportunity to follow up with this prospect and work the deal.

I would add email address to the list of collectibles. It's not only a good follow-up tool, email also lets you stay in contact with tenants to thank them for their business periodically, send newsletters and otherwise be a source of information, or to use as a payment reminder for folks who go month to month.

Information to collect- I see this as information to have in order to follow up and complete the sale process

1- Telephone number
2- When needed
3- Size needed
4- Price & special offered
5- Date to stop by and take a tour

Hey John ... I gave this project a little plug in my Storage Speak blog last week. I hope that helps your response rate!

What they will be storing, when they plan on storing, when can they come to the store for a tour, would they like to reserve the unit now( because we are almost full?), how did you hear/learn about us?
