YouTube Streams 2 Billion Videos a Day
YouTube announced it streams 2 billion videos a day! That's an impressive number.
Do you have a YouTube video? What does it encompass?
If not, why not? Is it the cost of creating a video? The technology? Not worth it in your eyes?
Is YouTube a good marketing avenue for self-storage operators? Discuss!

I don't have a video and have no desire for one.
I don't think YouTube is where people come looking for storage. It's where they look for entertainment. Self storage isn't particularly entertaining.
Well, I have to admit that I think many of my customers are entertaining. But they aren't going to encourage new customers to rent from me! And they might get really mad at me if I posted their activities online!

I have a video, but I'm too embarrassed about it to post it here...
It's about a pretty big rat that my hubs and I found plastered to a glue board in my kitchen.

We will be posting on Youtube soon. It gets us more exposure and web presence!
I have a 21 year old part time staff member who made this video YouTube - The John Locke Rap (Its called The John Locke Rap) based on the tv series lost. He also setup our twitter account last month and he's ensured we now have about 125 followers, 725 following and just took our first rental on FROM TWITTER! Check out how many hits he got from his video which he never thought would have any type of impact. The HIT COUNT is incredible!

My company uses twitter and has a facebook page. I'm not sure how it has affected our business, but sometimes you have to break out of the current model and try something different for a few months.
