ours are set at 62 and 75. We are 4 miles from the ocean, and the summer heat is bad, humidity is bad year round.

All I know is the experience we have had here. We have rented over 150 units here online with zero problems...and no auctions, and very few even paying the first late fee. None of them have left anything behind, or caused any problems whatsoever.

I've had plenty of customers come in...

I think a lot of this depends on your customer base. I'm of the mind to take a payment anyway I can get it. I'm in the business of making money and satisfying customers.

.I have one customer who refuses to accept emails with .pdf attachments because he is convinced they contain viruses....

You're lucky you can be so strict. We've had 5 expansions to this property since we've been here, more then quadrupled the number of units since we started, and now are adding 250 more units today that are just complete, and another 250 units in April. It would be much easier to tell people to hit...

Our website has them upload or scan or take a picture of their driver's license when they rent. The name on the license should match the name of the renter. I don't have the local person be responsible for the unit, unless they own the company. The local person can quit or be fired, and even if...

I've been in this business 15 years, and have rented over 10,000 units. Up until 2 years ago, I met every singe person that I rented a unit too, and I've rented to PLENTY of nut jobs. Unfortunately, most of them don't tell you or act like they are nut jobs at the time they rent...you find it out later....

We are full too...and are opening 250 more units tomorrow...and we don't require seeing everyone in person. When they rent a unit online, they pay for the rest of this month's rent and next months rent, take out insurance, sign up for autopay, and sign a lease. Some pay for a year in advance when...

how do you sign for purchases at Home Depot or Lowes or a grocery store store with a credit card? U-Haul has been on ONLY electronic signatures for at least 12 years. Electronic signatures AND Faxed signatures are binding. Welcome to 2017...

I don't give anyone my phone #, it is posted on the doors near the bottom "For Emergencies Only Contact: XXX-XXX-XXXX" I probably get 10 calls a year, 9 of them are gate issues, one was the owner of the facility prowling around after dark and I has some concerned tenants wondering what...

We have everything on our website AND a tenant can rent a storage unit, buy storage insurance, and sign their lease with their mouse or fingertip online. The website emails a signed copy of the lease to me and to the tenant, and emails the insurance policy to me, the tenant, and to Storesmart Insurance....

I don't get that many calls....sometimes I go a month or more....on the rare occasions I do get one, it's usually that they forgot their gate code....but we use the last 4 of their cell phone # so that's rare. We had a branch fall off of a tree one time and it got blown by the wind so it was interfering...

My Cell phone # is plastered on the front, side, and back door of the office...the door says it's the "Emergency line". I'd just as soon people not get trapped in the facility,...

I've always worked at 24 hour access facilities....2 I lived on site, this one I don't. I've been doing this for almost 15 years. are the rest of you offering 24 hour access having a lot of problems? I would think it would be more aggravating having people overstay the cut off time and not being able...
