A few questions:

1. Roughly how much does one expect to earn annually?

2. Is financing a huge obstacle?

3. I'm looking at owning/operating the business, any guidance on where to
start?

Your questions may be better answered if you post them over in the Construction, Development and Financing area.

Good luck with your new project and welcome to the best storage forum on the wild wild web!!!

Smile Re: Newbies in the Lone Star State

I'm new here also, I am a relief associate for 3 different storage locations. Not sure if I'd ever be able to make the jump to live on site management though, I have 2 kids and my own little patch of land out in the country, but I definitely love this industry so far. I started in January, and like others here, I am 1, happy to have a job in this terrible economy, and 2, totally loving it so far. The company I work for is great, it is owned by a corporation, but the main owner of the corporation is very involved, in a positive way, and might just be the best boss I've ever had lol. Either way, just wanted to pop in and say hi to all the other Texans out here.
