Hey all ... If you're participating in the ISS Expo in Nashville, Oct. 7-10, I want to let you know about another small change to the agenda. A few weeks ago, we announced a positive reversal in our Friday schedule, with expo hours in the morning and all other networking events in the afternoon. One of the events affected was our Buyers & Sellers Meeting, which is a forum for folks who are interested in buying and selling self-storage properties. We set up tables by region and let people talk business.

Anyway ... the event sponsor, 1031 Replacement Properties, reminded us how successful the morning format has been for that meeting over the past several years and expressed a concern about moving it. After group discussion, we decided he was right: Our real estate-oriented attendees do seem to enjoy that bright-and-early slot. The meeting will now take place from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 10. If you're on the market to buy or sell a facility, I hope we'll see you there!
