New Year's Resolutions
I wanted to wish everyone who is a resident of the Self Storage Talk community the warmest of New Year's wishes. Looking toward 2012, I wonder what resolutions folks are considering. I have never been very successful in keeping resolutions beyond January.
My first resolution this year is to break the old habits and commit my resolutions to paper and post them in my office. I'll share one of them so that I can be held accountable. I have an outline and pages of notes for a novel that I intend to finish and publish in 2012. It has nothing to do with our industry, but is a concept that I had many years ago and have never finished. So there it is SSTalk. You can all now hold be to task about getting it done in 2012.
I hope that everyone would share any resolutions or hopes or wishes that they hope to realize in 2012. Have a great New Year everyone. Let's all make 2012 the year that people will remember in the future as "The Good Old Days."

Re: New Year's Resolutions
Jim, Happy New Year right back at you. Hope you had a great Christmas. We did.
My resolution is simple to say, but difficult to do. I am going to lose weigth during 2012.
Oh, by the way, please make sure that your book is published for Kindle, also. That is what I got for Christmas.
Have a happy....Bob Taylor (Astro)

Re: New Year's Resolutions
You're here on SST, so it appears to me anyways, that you have already met your resolution goals!
I'm half-kidding; that is a great outlook on life and one I try to follow always. Life's too short to spend it with unhappy, lazy or dishonest people.
Pathetic I know, (no disrespect meant) but I think I'm with Mel also!Gina 6k

Re: New Year's Resolutions
@Jim-
My daughter just graduated with a degree in English language and a minor in linguistics, her goal is to become an editor at a publishing house. On Saturday, she's moving from sunny northern CA to Washington D.C. and has a couple of interviews at publishing houses lined up. I mention this only because in the last year she has edited a couple of novels for authors and very much enjoys it and has a strong talent for it. If you're looking for another set of eyeballs on your work she'd be more than happy to help out, and it strengthens her resume.
This time next week she'll live much closer to you too!In no way affiliated with Storman software.
