Christmas
It's that time of year again, (my favorite), so even though I'm not allowed to decorate the facility,
I've turned the radio to a channel that plays continous Christmas music. Raised the volume just
enough to aggravate those that don't like it and am wearing my Santa hat to make my point.
I make it a point to be politically incorrect about Christmas and wish everyone a very merry Christmas
every chance I get. Hope everyone that reads this will have one too, tacky lights and all.The End Is Near!

Wait astro, it's midnight somewhere in the world right? Zzzzz
FHARumRunner - My tacky get-ups are at the ready. This year I managed to find some tacky hair ties, barrettes etc. to add to my collection. And of course necklaces of bells and flashing lights and bells on the toes of my elf shoes. Ready, willing and reporting for Christmas detail! Merry Christmas season to all.Gina 6k

Re: Christmas
I must rescind my previous statement that this my favorite time of year. Yesterday my youngest daughter seriously injured herself while trying to do a favor for a neighbor. She fell from a neighbor's
roof while cleaning the ladies gutters, breaking both her wrists. I drove to Virginia Beach General to be with her a few hours yesterday and hear what the doctors thought. She will be incapacitated for quite a while and will not be able to work for even longer. I think Christmas will have to wait a few years, my recent medial bills of 183K and now hers will surely keep me too busy for my usual sleigh ride. Sorry. The End Is Near!

Re: Christmas
FHAR, I'm so sorry to hear that. No good deed huh? Keep the Christmas spirit in your heart, and all will be better. Hugs to your daughter for being such a good person. I know... she gets that from you.

Re: Christmas
FHAR> So sorry to hear about that. Hopefully all heals well - thankfully no head injury. My wife used to be an OR nurse. Her comment on motorcycle helmets was always that they can fix a whole lot of things, but heads are tough to work on.
