As LisaT stated the best vacation is a cruise! No cell service and you don't care!!!!
Our next cruise is not till Jan 2011, but it is another 15 night cruise through the Panama Canal. I am so excited and it's still over 10 months away!

Giggle! What day do you leave? I'll start my golf cart recon missions now. Oh wait, I'm the one that does the nighttime aircraft surveillance. Ha-ha!
BTW, that lady finally moved out last week. I was almost sorry to see her leave. I honestly like her when she's on her meds.

We have someone working and have family check the place every day. Someone has to feed my kitty when we are gone!! We have always made sure we were FAR enough away not to be expected to turn around. I do carry my laptop and make sure we have WiFi, so I can log in if needed. That has only happened once.

Last year we were in St. Louis and we have Weather Call on all of our cell phones (notifies us of Tornado and Severe T-Storms specifically for our address). Anyway, we were in the lobby of the Holiday Inn and all of our phones go off. We were under tornado warning!! So I called my girl who was working, and she was like, how did you know!! She was a little freaked out as you can imagine! I told her to lock the doors and told her where to go in the house! That was crazy!!

I have never heard of a Bug Kitchen?? Is something just in California?? LOL!!

Yes! It's called haute cuisine and we get you Southerners to eat 'em if we put fancy names on the dishes. Possum & crawdads ain't nothin' compared to what kinds of stuff we toss into our vittles. Again... geesh, I simply had a brunette moment.
