There is quite a bit of hardware to pick from in this industry. Our company purchases from authorized distribution centers located around Texas, you can check out Super Circuits located in Austin Texas, they have a very informative web page which might answer some basic questions you might have. Since you are not always at the property definitly invest in remote monitoring!

one reason for going underground is to minimize lightning related issues, and another is to keep the cables from being cut. Cables that are in the open are susceptible to weather, too, like ice and wind-blown debris. You're probably right about the cost and time of going overhead, but are the benefits worth the risks...

Also keep in mind that tall delivery truck that will come through in the late afternoon and rip off the connection.......

actually, not a problem. If conduit is run properly, there are no exposed wires. Now, if the truck bangs the building or nicks the camera itself, that is another matter. In a properly installed job, all you should be able to see is the camera mount and housing; the wire will be hidden behind it and routed out of sight back to the DVR and power source.

Default Security Company

We use Digi-Tech with Digi View. We have coverage all over our facility. We also have a screen that tells us who entered, at what time and stayed for how long, etc. The company was at the Florida event, but we already had the programs and cameras installed. They were very open to questions and explanations. Compare them with others!

Good luck.

Default Security Camera's

Any TV can be converted to a monitor, just put it on the auxilliary channel. Recently in a murder investigation the police took the entire DVD recorder a $2,500.00 machine. The entire facility was with out a recording device. The police know as little about the machines and software as do the managers.

Default Security of RV storage

Well I can tell you the general swing I have seen from a sales view is a large amount of people going from open/covered RV to totally enclosed with a door. I hear time and time again if you don't know what's in it you have less of a chance for someone wanting to break into it. On your problem the only advice I can offer adding top notch camera's for sure. DigiTech and PTI have merged recently and have one of the largest security companies in the industry now. There good to talk to. I have also seen people cut up there facilities with secondary gates dividing the different types of storage. So if you had enclosed storage you only have access to those units. But if you rent a canopy unit your second gate will open when they access the key pad. I have some customers that have done well with this. If you would like there contact information email me. I know they would try to help you. jpearson@trachte.com.
