Default Tomorrow's the BIG DAY !?!?!?

Well guys and gals, we rented 9 units today, and have ONE lonely 5 x 10 non-climate left empty in the entire facility. 660 units rented, ONE to go!

With any luck, SOMEONE SOMEWHERE SOMEHOW will walk in the door and need a 5 x 10 tomorrow, hopefully before someone else comes over and moves out......I've never had a facility with zero empty units before....but boy am I ready for the experience!!! Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Great job. OK now time to raise rental rates!

Your accomplishment in light of today's market conditions is remarkable.

All my best,

Thanks MisterJim!

The really funny (strange) thing is, we had a blinding rain/thunderstorm here most of the day yesterday. People would call in wanting a storage unit, I would tell them that we only had 3 units left, and they would say "Hold one for me, I'll be right over!"......

and they would drive over in the downpour and rent a unit. All 9 of our rentals yesterday went exactly that way.

Now there are a gazillion storage facilities all around us, and I know most of them have plenty of empty units, especially the new facilities.

Soooooooooooooo.....if telling customers we only have 2 or 3 units left continues to produce that kind of result, that may become my standard answer when anyone calls.

Great job Lisa -- have you got the bottle of Champagne ready?

We have about the same number of units, but unfortunately the economic client out here is not that good! We seem to be holding steady in the 85 to 90% area.

Once again Great job!!!

WE DID IT!!! WE had two 10x20 drive-ups move out this morning, and rented them quickly, thanks to our waiting list.

Then we waited all day, hour after hour after hour...for someone to come in wanting a 5 x 10.....we had several more potential customers come in wanting 10 x 10's or 10 x 20's...but no 5 x 10's....

FINALLY....at 5:45 pm....15 minutes before closing...a nice young lady comes in wanting to store one bedroom set.....and VOiLA!!!! I'm sure she never had such a warm and enthusiastic greetings before in her life!!!

we did it!!!! 661 rented units, ZERO empties!!! My husband took me out to a fabulous dinner at Taco Bell to celebrate.....I guess now that we are at the top of the mountain, there is only one direction to go from here, but the view is excellent for the moment!!!
