Ditto on the great bosses. Our facility is owned by two brothers and a friend of theirs. They have been friends since childhood and own several other businesses together. I have never heard any of them say a cross word to each other (or us) ha ha. David and I are both fast approaching our 60's and joke with them that we will go straight from here to the retirement center! As long as we can climb the stairs to our apartment, we'll be here. Would an elevator be out of the question?!!

Mary - your question would be better sooted for the General discussion area, but yes it is well worth it to take credit cards -- generally tenets stay longer if you accept cards -- that makes it easier for them to pay and forget about it.

Pam and David -- glad to hear that we are not the only ones how got lucky. I just turned 50 and the wife is only 29 () and, unless we win the lottery we will be here for a LONG time!!!

Default Cell Towers

Hey TowerGuy,

I have 4 properties on long island,NY and theyre all in i would think great spots for cell towers. I tried applying directly online with some of the cellular companies for a cell tower location but havent gotten anywhere yet. I know they are a great income producer and id love to get one of more towers on my property...Would you be of any assistance in reccomending a way of getting one or more towers to be installed on my properties?

THanks
Craig

I became involved here to see how I might be of assistance, and following the Las Vegas show, I really think this forum is going to take off.

If you're willing to talk at some point, please forward me your contact information. There is a link using my screen name to the left that will allow you to send email.

My wife and I enjoy the self-storage biz. But! We work for a person who is in real estate sales, He has no idea as to what the SS Biz is all about...
I guess saying that he has a slum lord management style is an understatement.
I have no up keep funds.
I have no Office budget.
I have no advertising budget...
In fact, I don't get much support at all...
It is just, get the rent and make the deposit.
The wife and I are looking for somewhere in the desert Southwest to operate.
We are in Oregon at this point...
Let me know if you need good people to manage your site.
