Cool kinda lonely around here

Kinda lonely -- I guess this place just needs time to pick up.

OH well, I'll still check in a few times each day to see what is going on.

Default ?

It seems that most people flock to the specialty forums.

Makes sense most people on here are looking for advice/information and not really networking.

Default CircleStorage... chime in here

A great deal of my current project work is located in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. Where is your facility located?

Default let's get this party started

Hey lonely people! Tell us more about your business. What makes your business different? I'm curious. Plus, it might just get the interest and conversation flowing a little better.

Default Hello from Beautiful Idaho

My husband and I manage a storage facility in southern Idaho. We started in the self storage industry about 2 1/2 years ago. I have a background in retail and office management. My husband is a 10 1/2 year Army Veteran. We absolutely love working in the self storage industry. However, some days can get pretty interesting. ha ha There is never a dull moment. I would love to hear from all parts of the country on this site.

Default How Do You Like Working For Your Company?

I have heard good things and bad things about certain companies since we started working in the self storage industry. How do you like the company you work for? Wages? Bonuses? Work Conditions? Hours? Benefits? I think it would be interesting to hear from managers from all over the country. Have a great day!!

Default Fantastic Owners!!!

The people I work for are the BEST!!!!

Our facility is a family owned, 650 unit and is 20 years old.

I like to think that we have brought new life to this old facility. This facility sits a few hundred feet back from the road, which is NOT a main road. Since we took over two years ago we have convinced then to paint the place and put up new signs. We now have people stopping by wanting to know if this is a new place. Some people have been driving by for 10 years and NEVER KNEW WE WERE HERE!!!

Our owners have been very receptive to all of our suggestions - they treat us fantastic, in fact we feel like part of the family. Unless I win the lottery I plan on being here a LONG Time!!!

Tower Guy,

I operate seven locations all over the Cincinnati area. We actually have 4 cell towers on our properties.

Circlestorage:

That's fantastic! Perhaps I can buy lunch sometime and we can talk towers. I think that many folks here would love to know more about tower site rental, and how to approach it for their business.

I became involved here to see how I might be of assistance, and following the Las Vegas show, I really think this forum is going to take off.

If you're willing to talk at some point, please forward me your contact information. There is a link using my screen name to the left that will allow you to send email.

Regards,

towerguy
