Teri,
It's a nice consideration but I would recommend not including a "live" chat room into SST. The additional management overhead and the possibility of it attracting non-storage people to the site would be the main reasons. The forums are very adequate to most of my needs and I probably wouldn't use the chat. Just my 2-cents worth of advice. Have a great week,

I think it would be great it is hard sometimes to wait for replies when you are getting busy. I think the other comment is correct we can pretty much police it ourselves. I think it would attract even more members as well. Just my 2 cents worth as well

Real-time chat allows members to arrange their own discussions when the need arises, and would be a terrific resource for ISS to see what people want to talk about when given the option.
