We operate 42 facilities and use Winsen, exclusively. They have great support personnel, our training time for new managers is relatively short, and as far as I know, our manager's seem to like it.

I have used other software and my bottom line is this, most systems have some good features, most have some bad. Go to an ISS expo, get the companies to give you a demonstration, have them give you a list of referrals, visist with management companies and get their opinions.

Big decision, take your time in making your evaluation.

We use Syrasoft for check conversions, now we only have to go to the bank once a week with the cash. Great support from their guys/gals.

Thank you for your input. We are using WinSen and like it, but have not used any other programs. We are about to add 200+/- units to our existing 350 unit facility and will need to upgrade to the latest version of WinSen when this occurs. Do any of your sites interface with an Insomniac kiosk and a website for online payments? Have you used PPI for credit card and ACH processing? If not, who? Thanks in advance for your help.

We recently implemented PTI 7 months ago, and the support was awsome. Currently we use PTI's Taskmaster and will be using there gate system within the next month. The support people speak english, not broken english. I simply love Taskmaster, Ive had went over several demos when we were looking for new software, there were a few that caught my eye, but the support?? Overall I am pleased with the decision of going with PTI. I look foward to using there software with the gates as well.

I have a friend that works for a storage facility and they use sitelink web edition, all I hear from her is how bad she dislikes sitelink. My opinion, PTI has been working very well for us and believe we made a great decision.

I use Centershift for the 60 stores that we manage. We found that it offers us so much with regards to reports, accounting, controls, web-based capability, and revenue mgmt. We implement dynamic pricing in our organziation and this software is key to the success.

Brian, we use Centershift here, and I wish it offered as much in the day to day operations as it does to the accounting personnel.

We work around all the things that Centershift doesn't do properly in the daily operations, but it takes forever to teach a new employee how you are supposed to do things in Centershift to get it to "come out right" instead of doing it the logical way it should work.

and to top it off, I have called Centershift 3 times and left messages about an error message I started getting about a month ago...called them during their advertised available hours, got an answering machine, left detailed messages..and no one has ever called me back...I finally gave up, because the error message doesn't seem to be causing it to do anything differently.

yes, they interface, yes we do on line payments and yes we use ppi. Anothe rreason I like Winsen.
