Christmas Bonuses
Touchy subject, I know, but I was curious about Christmas bonuses in the storage industry.
Will anyone get these this year?

Much to our suprise we got our full bonus this year right before Thanksgiving and I think the surprise came from knowing how off the business has been so we were prepared and fully ready to understand NO bonus. I am not sure how the owners of this company do it but I am sure glad I am one of theirs
I think that everyone is ready for those to be one of the first things gone but for many empolyers they still want to walk out of the trenches of this rotten economy with their team intact. I hope everyone is as blessed in one way or another this year and always, and remember just having a job right now is truly a Bonus in and of itself.
Lovin it.

bonuses, yes of course
Our maintenance/handyman lives on the property. I do not. He works another job and works around here on weekends and sometimes when he comes home at night. He is a former prison guard, and several late nights he has awakened to funny business happening on the property. Believe me, you would not want to be the person he finds here at 3am... He really looks after this place and lets me know when anything is amiss. He is a gem! I will most likely double the bonus I gave him last year.

I know the owners are very happy with the job we are doing and that is bonus enough for me!

Yes, we will be giving out bonuses again this year. Why mess with tradition?

I know I will be getting a bonus this year - next Saturday at the owners' lunch. I don't know how it will compare with last year's, but we have had a phenomenal year, and we continue to do well in spite of the recession, so I guess it should be about the same.
However, even if I were to get less, or nothing, I am thankful for the job and the great working environment and bosses! The bonus is just that - a BONUS.MamaDuke

We received a bonus, in return our Company earned our loyalty.
We were shocked to have received Christmas CASH and a gift bag of gifts delivered personally from our President of Operations. Our company has over 20 stores and each of us received the above. For Thanksgiving, we were surprised with Wal-Mart gift cards in the mail.
Owners....I highly recommend doing something, even if it cant be alot.
We always think out of the box and strive for success; however, we are really trying everything possible in order to create added business for our company. Their thoughtfulness has earned our loyalty for years to come.
Simply put, it was touching!
