Third-Party Management Companies
For owners, what do you look for in third-party management companies? Is it worth the investment to work with them?

Hi John! I am curious to know if you heard from anyone. It is my understanding that if I were to finance a future facility that most lenders require you to work with a Third Party Management Firm for the first few years.
I was reading the book How To Invest In Self Storage and it said to think of Third Part Management as an investment rather than just another operating expense. The listed questions to use when interviewing a management firm as well as talked about pros/cons.
I most likely would try to retain my current job to pay the bills and then focus paying off my business from the profits. So, the idea of a management firm assisting me, I believe, is a fine idea.
Does anyone mind sharing with me/us who you recommend? Specifically in my case being in the Dallas, TX area. I'd love to sit down with someone and learn more about what services are offered.
