Sheryl-

NO seems to have become a particularly difficult market for recruiting. I am aware of one of the dominant players paying up to 3k in relo expenses.

In the above reply I stated that I was hoping to find someone with experience in the self storage industry to work for me. well that wish has not come true, so now my request is for anyone in the New Orleans (westbank area) that is interested in learning the self storage industry can contact me at karaokegal@cox.net Please you must have computer skills. After numerous interviews, i have found that some people consider computer skills to be playing games on the computer. I need someone with REAL computer skills. thank you

Aloha Cheryl,

So sorry to hear of your hiring woes. I think many of us suffer the same frustration.

What avenues have you used to find workers? I know I found the following deviations from standard classified ads to deliver some qualified applicants:

1. Craiglist.com (I love free advertising!)
2. Job Boards at local community colleges
3. Employment agencies (temp to perm)

Good luck!
