Thread: Crazy things caught on camera?

I have seen a lot of crazy things caught on camera over the years. A few years back an irate customer came into the office and complained about her being late and our imposition of late fees. She screamed and yelled and said "Hey, I was in the hospital getting these fixed, OK!" She then proceeded to raise her jumper exposing her bare breasts. She spun on her heels, ranting and raving and stormed out of the office. When I went to the facility, the boys said, "Hey boss, I bet you've never seen this!" They proceeded to play back the DVR and I was shocked but not surprised, after all........

We are in California!!!!

What crazy things have you caught on camera?

So, Tom, are you saying that surgical-augmentation is not a valid reason to waive late fees in California? Go figure.....

Caught on camera.....Hmmm............is there such a thing as CRAZY in California?????????

Had a guy pulled up to the office - after closing time. He checked the door, (apparently not noticing the rather large CLOSED sign in the window), when he finally realized the office was closed he walked back to his truck - stood so that he was in full view of the partially hidden camera and whipped out his...er...little garden hose.......and proceeded to water the wall of my front yard!

The entire time we are sitting in the residence watching this....er....unfold - live on the monitor.

Other then that it's just the normal stupidity.

Not unless the surgeon does an impressive job. In this case, gravity had taken its toll. Quite frankly, considering the visual image, we would have preferred the late fees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had someone steal a flower pot off the front lol. There used to be a flower pot in front of the office and apartment doors. Around 7 one morning someone left the facility, then came back into frame, got out, opened the passenger door, looked around, and swiped the plant. haha This was before me and the resident manager were here and we found it as a bookmarked investigation on the DVR-couldn't resist watching it

How about our X Maintenance man stealing out of a tenants unit with the camera right there, not only 1 time not 2 times but 3 times and then unloading his goods into the maintenance shed and then when his ride showed up he loaded it into his car all caught on the camers. The kicker was the he denied he did it even when the police showed him the recorded video. This belongs on the stupid theft videos that are on TV.

We were opening a brand new facility , and they brought over all of new office equipment ( phones, printer, fax, copier , etc.) we hooked it all up to make sure all was working ...
the cleaning crew was coming in that night to clean the apt and the office from the new construction. The general contractor was going to let them in while he was going to finish up some of the construction stuff.... and the next morning when we opened the brand new 3 line office phone with 2 phones was gone ..
The general contractor was upset and said he should have watched them closer.. Well we just figured it was gone , but then I called the guy who set up our gates and cameras and asked him by any chance were the cameras working and to my amazement they were and they even had the capability of zooming in on the subject ... No one knew he had finished hooking it all up the day before....
So we gathered around and we couldn't believe our eyes , there was the general contractor putting the phones away in the box and took it out to his truck and put it way... ( ALL CAUGHT ON TAPE) So we called a lock smith and had the office and the apt re-keyed , and when he came to get in he couldn't .. We confronted him with the evidence and he never came back to the office he sent others to finish up ...

I had a tenant come in the office to pay his rent. He was late and when he heard he had to pay the late fee , he began yelling, cursing, etc. Been there, done that .. I'm used to it. He was acting funny, so I watched him via the surveillance camera. He went up the elevator, got a box from his unit on the 2nd floor, got back to the 1st floor lobby and proceeded to relieve himself in a small trash can !

Not necessarily the funniest. O.K. I assume most of you have motion lights and I don’t think anybody pays much attention to them.

We just installed a new security light and it’s an attention getter. This light is on a 150 watt motion sensor, has a built in wireless camera and best of all, it has infrared sensors that allow the light & camera to track you.

The pizza delivery guy was confused when he came through the walk through gate. The light turned on and started following him. He stopped turned around walked back several feet watching the camera/light. He did that three times then finally returned to his car with out delivering the pizza.. A few minutes later, the phone rang. Guess who? Poor guy was totally confused when the light started following him. We went out and met him at the gate.
