OMG! Please keep those prayers comin'.
Geraldine, we sure will keep praying, but in the meantime, how about posting some pictures so we can show our tenants WHY we insist that they have insurance!

Great idea, Deb, but my pictures do not really show how wet everything was. What they do show is a jumble of stuff in an unorganized manner.

This morning I saw that our large tree in the back of the lot has crashed into the fence which keeps the cows out of our parking area... Fortunately there are no vehicles parked in that corner of the lot. I am on the look-out now for random cows searching for units. OMG!

Am I wholeheartedly pushing insurance now? You betcha!

Remember that you can store cows without a license plate, and matching registration and insurance papers.

We require they either purchase it through us, or present us with their Declaration Page as proof that they feel adequately covered. The 3rd and least desirable option is a waiver, showing that you at least presented it and the customer refused and is willing to sign that he was offered and refused.

We had about 2000 sf of roofing blown off a couple of our buildings one time. Almost all of it blew out of the facility and landed on our competitors facility. They didn't say anything to us about it at all, they just cleaned it up. We had a lot of cleanup ourselves in addition to fixing the roofs. The reason the roofing blew off was rotted plywood from prev water damage.
