Oh my--- this is a must read!! I admit it has been a rough couple of weeks for collections & evictions. But I am no where close to taking a belt to my tenant's backside!

I can't imagine anyone wanting to go that far unless one listed here pushed someone over the edge. The tenant complied?

Maybe we should include this in our leases as one of the punishments for not paying rent, you never know, it might be effective

The fact that the landlord thought spanking was even an option is hysterical! Then he followed through with it and guy complied. Twisted.

Yes Amy-- I am thinking there is more to this story!! And I am going to be looking for a large painful paddle and a thick wide leather belt with studs to hang in my office with reference to this article!! HA! I am still cringing about the Citizen of the Year award and Chamber of Commerce President. Let alone the fact the tenant complied!!

I almost sounds as if the two were related... and then I'd like to know why on earth would a 29 year old bend over and let a grown man spank them... Now that's just too much... LOL. It's sure funny... But where's the rest of the story...?

There may be more to this but as I read the story I get the feeling that the public could actually understand and relate to his actions and he would likely still win over public opinion.

That’s the way things were handled a few generations back in time. It has a way of leaving a lasting memory. When you stand in the principal’s office and he points to a big paddle hanging on the wall and says "you don't what to come in here again", you remember.
