Change the usual game plan for the thieves. We added wood privacy fencing in problem fence cut areas. Why? They come with metal cutting tools. Those typically don’t work on wood. We had lighting, live cameras, onsite manager, and police relationship before that. Some thefts appeared to be break or cut outs from the inside. The wood fencing works both ways and we haven’t had a theft since. We have since switched to adding metal ‘cattle’ panels attached to the chain link. The panels are more durable and still would slow the simple chain link fence cutting way down. We have woods on three sides. Gate code strength and management is also critical.

High chain link fence with razor wire. Code controlled gates. My bad attitude if I catch you on facility after hours.
