We don't do ant move in specials. I have discounts for military, first responders and hospital workers and multi month free time when paid in advance. All the ones around me do the move in specials and we are fuller than they are. -

I am just tracking my numbers closely. I have stayed pretty full all year and am about $1200 ahead of last year which was my 6th straight year with a bigger year than the year before.

Lets understand their "normal" business model first:
a. Onsite management
b. Climate controlled, which is cheaper if you build multi level versus single. Also because the land is more expensive in larger cities.
