  • Hand truck ramps?

    Hello all,
I need some information. We are buying new USC storage containers. I need to purchase some hand truck ramps, for loading items in containers with a hand truck. Any suggestions? Thank you for any and all help.

    Have you looked at Uline?

Yes, I was not sure of what type would be good.

Gotcha, ours came with our truck (formerly a Penske) but let me see if there's a brand on it. It's tough, we have rentals all of the time for our truck.

No brand but 1,000 lbs capacity.

I am actually surprised they would not offer ramps as an add-on for extra revenue. I am curious if the ramps are all metal how they would do in the various weather conditions. I see the pull out ramps on the UHaul trucks and get a little worried when I see tenants moving when it is raining or misty, I have been on those ramps when they are wet or damp and got no traction with my shoes.

Will the ramps attach and detach or be left in place for tenants to drive over and bend up?

Could you have a carpenter build some wooden ones or form and create concrete ones?

Instead of the ramps, the hand trucks/carts that have the rotating set of wheels for going up edges/sidewalks? Have a few honor system hand carts for the tenants to use?

            Just throwing out some ideas/thoughts.
