  • So, I'm really happy we've gone from high alert drought

...To filling our water basins. The hills are lush and green-mountains are filled with snow. It's lovely, and drought sucks.
But seriously, 4 inches of rain, every week or so for the past month, and they're promising this weather pattern into April? I'm surprised I haven't had tenants beating in my door because their roofs are leaking. The roofs wouldn't leak NORMALLY, but we've had an ABNORMAL (ok, when i was a kid it used to rain like this but that was 50 YEARS ago). When the rain finally subsides (in May the news is saying) it's gonna get ugly.

Thank you for listening to my TedTalk.

When we get some dry weather check all of the gutters (it's on the list for tomorrow already) and check the empty units as well. We have sealant, we just need some TIME to do it-we've got two days before it rains again unfortunately. So far we've had tenants in all of the buildings in the past couple of days and no issues reported-*crosses toes and fingers*
