I've had to have 2 AC units replaced within the last year. Now I have 2 more!! that are leaking freon. All within the same building. They are 12-13yrs old which I know is not brand new, but find it odd that they would all start leaking freon almost simultaneously. I've even gotten a 2nd opinion about the leaks because I thought I may have been getting "scammed". They all are on a regular 6 month service contract. We are in a high humidity area if that makes a difference. Any ideas on why this is happening or suggestions on what we could do in the future to prevent this?
